Position Description
Estimated weekly time commitment: 1-2 hours
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
Developing and executing a strategic plan for volunteer recruitment
Updating and moderating the Facebook group as required
Implementing volunteer recruitment strategies in community environments
Providing volunteers with training and support, tracking their performance, and keeping records of their activities
Verifying volunteer availability, receiving their feedback, recognizing their efforts, and answering their questions
Providing marketing support for volunteer retention and engagement
Collaborating with other executive team members
Qualifications

Demonstrated abilities using GSuite, email marketing, and social media platforms
Bonus:
Working towards diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
Experience in marketing, communications, and volunteer engagement or management
Experience in the non-profit sector
